Hickey Cancer Center, made possible through the generous $500,000 commitment by the late Dutchess County Assemblywoman's son, Dan Hickey, Jr. The new center will create an integrated environment, providing easy access to diagnostics, treatments, and ancillary services, all in one convenient location.

Saint Francis Hospital has provided oncology services to residents of the Hudson Valley for many years and provides the highest standards of care for patients who benefit from the collective expertise of board-certified and fellowship-trained surgical, radiation, and medical oncologists, and the specialized skills of certified oncology nurses. Accredited by the prestigious Commission Cancer of the American College of Surgeons, the cancer center at Saint Francis Hospital offers advanced treatment programs for all major cancers including breast, prostate, colon, liver, pancreatic, and lung.

Professional Radiation Oncology Services (PROS) is a premier radiation therapy service offering the Hudson Valley its first Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT). During IGRT treatment, the radiation beam adjusts to its target and motion of the tumor with an unprecedented level of accuracy. At PROS, the cancer patient benefits from the newest technology available in radiotherapy.

Currently, the cancer center and PROS are located in the Atrium at Saint Francis Hospital and Health Centers.
